Not much needed to try this out, just add D CMAKE_EXE_LINKER_FLAGS="-ltcmalloc" to your cmake command. And of course: install gperftools, eventually gperftools-devel

Important: do this for OpenSceneGraph, SimGear and FlightGear (OSG seems to have the most impact).
